Advancing our knowledge of elections
This annual conference brings together political scientists, election professionals, and other experts in election administration to develop rigorous empirical approaches to the study of how law and administrative procedures affect the quality of elections in the United States.
Since 2017, the ESRA Conference has brought together academics from across disciplines, and election officials from around the country, to share knowledge and work toward improving our understanding of elections in the US.
A Rich Archive
We have archived information from past ESRA conferences on this site; for many, this includes the papers that were presented during the program. This provides a great survey of the ongoing research in the field of election science, and just how far we have collectively advanced our knowledge and understanding of elections.
